In a context of accelerated change and ecological transition, the Ekocrea project proposes a new vision of socio-labor insertion, linked to the social economy, sustainability and innovation. In contrast to traditional models, Ekocrea proposes a strategy that anticipates opportunities in emerging sectors such as the circular economy and creative industries, placing people and the environment at the center of economic development.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- Promote the social and labor insertion of people with disabilities and at risk of exclusion, especially young people and women.
- Promote the social economy as an engine for sustainable and inclusive development.
- Generate opportunities in sectors with high potential such as creative industries and circular economy.
- To provide Special Employment Centers (CEE) and Social and Labor Insertion Enterprises (EIS) with innovative tools to diversify their business model.
PEOPLE INVOLVED
The project is aimed at people at risk of social exclusion, mainly people with disabilities, women and young people. It is based on an approach of active participation and co-creation, where these people not only gain access to employment, but also become protagonists of change.
ACTIVITIES
Ekocrea develops its intervention through innovation laboratories structured in four phases:
Exploration and analysis of opportunities in emerging sectors
Design and testing of physical-digital laboratories and business models
Implementation and training through specialized training paths
Knowledge transfer through the creation of a statewide network of innovation in social economy
